KFC owns 'Family Feast'?

Kentucky Fried Chicken has demanded that a remote pub in the Yorkshire Dales remove the phrase 'Family Feast' from their Christmas Day menu. The company claims the use of the phrase infringes on their trademark.

The two Family Feasts are quite dissimilar. A KFC Family Feast is £9.99 and contains chicken, fries, coleslaw, potato and gravy, and a drink. A Family Feast at the Tan Hill Inn is a traditional Christmas dinner with "all the trimmings".

Neither side shows any sign of backing down. KFC stated that it put "significant resources to promoting and protecting its trademarks." The pub owner, Mrs Daly, says she will take this "all the way" if the multinational doesn't back down.
